Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Developer and Pentaho Data Integration .This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a collaborative environment .

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain data integration workflows and processes using Pentaho Data Integration to support business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with Property & Casualty Insurance domain standards.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and scripts to extract transform and load data efficiently.
• Provide technical expertise in data modeling database design and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for data integration processes workflows and system configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data integration and database performance in a timely manner.
• Ensure data accuracy consistency and security by implementing best practices in data governance and quality control.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SQL development and data integration technologies.
• Participate in system testing debugging and deployment activities to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools to enhance team productivity and project outcomes.
• Support the organizations mission by delivering high-quality solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL Developer with the ability to write and optimize complex queries and scripts.
• Exhibit expertise in Pentaho Data Integration including designing and implementing ETL workflows.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of the Insurance domain with an understanding of its data and operational requirements.
• Showcase excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Have a solid understanding of data modeling database design and performance tuning principles.
• Show familiarity with data governance and quality control best practices.
• Demonstrate the ability to document technical processes and workflows clearly and concisely.
• Stay adaptable and open to learning new tools and technologies as required by the role.
• Bring a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Possess a bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
• Have prior experience working in a hybrid work model and collaborating with remote teams effectively.
