Description
IT Architecture; State Street Bank and Trust Company; Princeton, NJ: Will be responsible for: being up to date with what’s happening in the UI/UX space and evaluating new technologies with the intention of keeping State Street’s technology footprint up to date; working on sound strategies to weed out old technologies; working with teams across the firm to help them translate business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps; working on assignments that involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or requirements needs an in-depth evaluation of various factors; responding to technical issues in a professional and timely manner; developing a deep understanding of State Street technology landscape and designing and developing forward-looking user interfaces; providing leadership in developing the organization's technical and architectural staff; making decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components; exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments; running detailed evaluations on UI toolkits and component libraries with the intention of making a common set of components useable for the entire firm; and working closely with the State Street Design Teams to establish a synergy between design and implementation.
Minimum requirements are: Master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field and 5 years of experience designing, executing, and supporting IT solutions.
Must have: experience architecting and implementing technical solutions for banking, finance, or securities domains; hands-on experience with technologies like React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, or CSS3 and desktop-based technologies like Electron, OpenFin, Finsemble, or Glue42; experience in Java, Micro Service Architecture, Spring frameworks, and WebSockets-based push technology; expertise in designing and building backed end systems and integrating RESTful APIs; experience in managing applications that run on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure; skills in asynchronous programming patterns in Node.js and Java optimizing application performance for I/O intensive tasks and handling concurrent requests; demonstrated experience with Cloud Technologies like Docker and Kubernetes; hands-on experience coding of application, infrastructure and deployment code; experience with No Code or Low Code Platforms; experience using coding standards, secured application development, documentation, release and configuration management; and expertise in CI/CD.
Salary: $135,000.00 to $245,000.00 per year.
