Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Deposit Operations Team Lead to support daily retail banking operations and deposit services. This role provides operational support to branch teams, assists with workflow coordination, ensures regulatory compliance, and helps maintain efficient and accurate deposit operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Support retail branches with deposit products and services, including checking, savings, debit cards, and time deposits.
- Assist with daily Deposit Operations functions, workflow coordination, and team support.
- Review new accounts, account maintenance, and required compliance documentation.
- Support IRA, HSA, teller capture, and Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) operations.
- Monitor balancing activities, research teller outages, and communicate findings to management.
- Resolve non-post items and assist with savings bond processing.
- Support staff training, operational procedures, and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with bank policies, BSA/AML requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Assist Video Teller operations, as needed, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, information technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of banking experience in Deposit Operations or Retail Banking preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail banking operations, deposit products, and compliance practices.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple priorities, and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking systems preferred.
