Job Title: Senior Technical Project Manager, Philips Capsule

Role Summary:

The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of complex tasks to ensure deliverables meet customer expectations, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The role provides expert guidance on technical and operational issues, resolving advanced problems to maintain high customer satisfaction, operating with limited supervision. The role builds effective relationships with internal and external partners, develops comprehensive project plans, and coordinates cross-functional teams. The role analyzes performance data for strategic insights, handles high-level risks and change requests, and oversees the technical integration of products. The role supports presales with technical expertise and ensures effective stakeholder communication.

Senior Technical Project Manager, Philips Capsule은 MDIP(Medical Device Information Platform)를 비롯한 Philips Capsule의 의료기기 연결 및 데이터 통합 솔루션의 Technical Implementation을 주도하며, 병원의 수술실(OR), 중환자실(ICU) 등 다양한 임상 환경에서 의료기기 데이터 통합 및 병원 시스템(EMR/EHR 등) 연계 프로젝트를 총괄하는 역할입니다. IT 백그라운드를 기반으로 의료기기, EMR 및 임상 시스템 간 연동을 설계• 구현하고, 품질• 일정• 예산을 충족하는 프로젝트 실행을 총괄합니다. 내부 크로스펑셔널 팀 및 외부 이해관계자와 긴밀히 협업하여 기술적 이슈와 리스크를 효과적으로 관리하고 고객 만족도를 극대화합니다. Clinical 환경에 대한 이해 또는 유관 Project Management 경험 및 Engineer 경험을 보유한 경우 우대합니다.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Leads complex project tasks, ensuring all deliverables meet customer expectations within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Engages with customers on technical matters, providing expert guidance and resolving issues to maintain high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Operates with limited supervision, applying independent judgment to drive project success and compliance.
• Builds strong relationships with internal and external partners, influencing projects through deep expertise in the area of specialization.
• Develops project plans and coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure effective resource allocation and milestone achievement.
• Analyzes project performance data, providing insights and recommendations to optimize outcomes and enhance customer value.
• Evaluates project risks and issues, collaborating with project managers to execute effective mitigation strategies.
• Participates in the implementation of complex products and solutions at customer sites, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Supports presales activities by offering technical expertise and planning insights to ensure proposed solutions meet customer needs.
• Facilitates communication among project stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and prompt issue resolution.
• Conducts post-project evaluations to gather customer feedback and identify areas for future improvement.
• Consults key clients to understand their technical and business needs, providing strategic recommendations.
• Develops comprehensive technical solutions, including design documentation and testing procedures under general supervision.
• Manages the lifecycle of solution deployment, ensuring successful integration and performance optimization.
• Analyzes unique client requirements to deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Implements methodologies for continuous improvement, leveraging customer feedback and best practices.
• Shares insights and best practices across teams to enhance Philips' service offerings.
• Maintains adherence to configuration management protocols for accuracy and reliability in technical deployments.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate client feedback into enhancements.
• Prepares and presents technical reports and recommendations, addressing system performance and future improvements.
• Provides mentorship and training to empower clients and team members to effectively use their systems.
• Resolves complex technical issues through advanced troubleshooting, offering proactive support for system reliability.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor's/Master in Information Sciences with a major in Computer Science or Information Technology Degree
• Preferably Microsoft Certified in - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and SQL preferred.

Minimum Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
• Experience in Healthcare Informatics-related industries, such as healthcare companies, Hospital information departments or Biomedical Engineering with experience in medical device integration.
• Integrating medical device data into the Electronic Medical Record(EMR) or Database
• Preferably worked in Medical device data connection, such as patient monitors, Ventilators, Dialysis device, and heart-lung bypass devices.
• Comfortable working in the Operating room and Intensive Care Unit environment
• Networking understanding, IP addresses, DHCP, and DNS.
• Perform Firewall whitelisting, VPN setup and TLS 1.2
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory, SSL, and certification implementation.
• Simple SQL querying
• Understand HL7 v2.x (pipe-delimited format, e.g., ADT and ORU messages), and increasingly, FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources).
• Engineering background, with hands-on experience mounting equipment preferred.

Travel

The position involves frequent travel throughout South Korea and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, typically lasting between 1 to 2 weeks.

Languages

Fluency in both Korean and English required, with professional verbal and written communication skills.
