Job Title: Manager - Private Markets Monitoring
Function: Investments
Sub Function: Private Markets Monitoring - Investment Research
Location: Mumbai

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Private Credit Research team in updating portfolio data from company reports and updating proprietary database (Ilevel) with latest performance metrics for further analysis.
• Perform analysis of existing investments including financial statement analysis and monitor KPIs for credit monitoring and present findings to onshore research team/fund managers.
• Maintain updated cashflows, financial models and analytics for existing investments.
• Create and update ESG scorecards and Sustainable Investment tests on Ilevel for companies
• Provide support in developing monitoring reports and present observations to the Fund Managers and wider research team.
• Prepare comprehensive credit documentation for semi-annual and reviews and Verity uploads
• Coordinate and interact with multiple stakeholders across the investment business.
• Assist the Private Markets Research team deliver the agreed upon tasks in a timely basis and help manager in driving team wide initiatives.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of private credit including the corporate financial structures, valuation methodologies, debt & equity structures and rating methodologies.
• Excellent analytical acumen and logical mindset. Strong knowledge of financial statements/ratio analysis/accounting principles and concepts
• Understanding of corporate credit will be preferable.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong financial modelling skills. Proficiency with standard finance applications like Bloomberg.
• Strong analytical skills and a logical thought process.
• Quick learner with an ability to work in an unstructured environment.
• Very good communication & interpersonal skills. Should have the ability to collaborate in a team setting as well as work independently, with a proactive approach & working under strict deadlines.
• Keen to improve the efficiency of current and future processes within the team.

Experience:

• 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in a Private Credit/ Private Markets/Private Assets/Structured Credit.
