Valley Radiology Consultants has been serving North San Diego County since 1971. VRC is a leader in diagnostic imaging, committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services at our outpatient centers in Poway and Escondido, and now in Fallbrook. Our group of physicians is accompanied by a dedicated team of Technologists, administrative staff and management.

We want you to join our Mammography Technologist team. We are hiring qualified technologists in Full-Time, Part-Time and Per Diem schedules. Our ideal candidate is willing to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:

The Mammography Technologist's primary role is caring for our patients by performing screening and diagnostic breast imaging, as well as assisting in interventional breast procedures. You will be responsible for calibrating and operating diagnostic equipment, and will work directly with the on-site Physicians. As part of the Valley Radiology team, you will work within safety standards and regulatory requirements, and also participate in quality control (QC) and continuing medical education (CME).

Education & Licensure Requirements:

• Completion of a formal training program for Radiology and Mammography Technology.
• Current California licensure for Mammography (CRT-M).
• Current ARRT "R".
• Solid understanding of ACR and MQSA regulations.
• BLS certification.
• Current CPR certification.

Work Experience:

Minimum six months of experience in performing mammography as directed by radiologists is desired
Mammography and X-ray experience with proven competence in an outpatient Radiology clinical setting preferred
General knowledge of information technology (PACS / RIS).

Sign On Bonus:

Incentive is available only to new, full-time hires.
Incentive will be evenly divided into (4) quarterly payments of $2,500.00 subject to all applicable taxes and withholdings.
