SUPERVISED BY: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain, and upgrade end user PCs in a Windows environment.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade police technologies (In car computer/camera systems and GPS)
- Pulling cable to upgrade infrastructure
- Assist end users with passwords, Gmail, Microsoft Office, BS&A, Team Viewer, phones, printers, ect. Assist with inventory records
- Assist with servers, firewalls, WiFi
- Assist with website content and camera systems
- Ability to maintain good customer relations with citizens and effective working relationships with supervisors and colleagues
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions so as to work independently and responsibly in the absence of supervision
- Valid Driver’s License with an excellent driving record and the ability to drive van or truck
Requirements
EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE
- An associate degree in a computer or technology related field or one year of experience with at least two of the following certifications: A+, N+, Sec+, MCSA Windows 10, MCSA Windows Server, CCNA, VCTA
- Knowledge of basic computer, TCP/IP, and WiFi troubleshooting in a Windows environment
- Basic understanding of router, switches, servers, and Ethernet wiring standards
- Knowledge of Android phones, Windows Servers, Virtualization, and GSuite a plus
- Successfully passing pre-employment physical, drug screen and be willing to and pass a background investigation and finger printing
