Role overview

The Flying Expert BA is a highly experienced analyst deployed in the most strategic phases of business transformation programs. This role focuses on requirements elicitation, process modeling, stakeholder alignment, and early validation to ensure strong business foundations. The Flying Expert BA enables delivery readiness for up to six product teams.

What you do:

• Contribute to Sprint 0 requirements and bundles definition
• Lead process mapping and impact assessments
• Facilitate workshops with global/local stakeholders to gather requirements and insights, ensuring comprehensive understanding and alignment
• Translate business needs into clear, validated requirements
• Support backlog shaping alongside the Product Owner
• Drive early testing readiness (e.g. Functional Testing scenarios, data definitions)
• Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, user stories, and process flows
• Utilize Jira to track project progress, manage tasks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition and implementation for new OE

What you bring:

• 5+ years in BA roles within transformation or system delivery programs
• Profound experience with liaising multiple stakeholder groups, incl. Product Managers,
• Product owners, Architects and agile teams - also towards demanding OEs.
• Strong experience in Sales Insurance sector and preferably modern state-of-the-art CRM systems
• Proven experience in Sprint 0 / early-stage delivery setup
• Skilled in process modeling, stakeholder mgmt, and discovery facilitation
• Able to align global goals with local realities
• Proficiency in English at a professional/business level - verbal and written
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with development teams, business, and management, demonstrating the ability to handle a variety of activities independently
• Able to upskill and support other team Business Analysts in order to strengthen team capabilities and improve overall performance
• Willingness to travel internationally as required to meet product and stakeholder needs
• Familiarity with software development processes and lifecycle, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies and DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and align business analysis with organizational goals
• Initiative: Proactive in identifying opportunities and taking the lead in driving solutions
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, able to adjust to changing priorities and environments
• Preferred: experience in BMP Sales and its capabilities
